Specialization Economics Environment and Policy in 'Consumer Studies'
Sustainable Consumption issues can only be dealt with in close consideration of production and consumption chains. The specialization Economics, Environment, and Policy focusses on economic, environmental, and policy analysis. Among others, it is concerned with economic development in the agricultural and food sector. To analyze these issues, economic theories, as well as theories from law, sociology, and political science are applied. The MSc Management, Economics and Consumer studies in which this specialization is done focuses on the managerial, economic, environmental and sociological aspects of the production and consumption of food within households and businesses in a sustainable and dynamic environment.
