The Management, Economics and Consumer Studies program is geared to study the dynamics along the product chain between suppliers, producers, retailers, and consumers. How do they interact with each other, and how do they affect and how are they affected by the economy and society? In the two-year MSc program, you learn about the inter-relationships between producers, consumers and society at large.
The domain of this program is (agri-)business, and all components of the food industry, including production, distribution and consumption. The program covers managerial, economic, sociological, and environmental aspects between and within households and businesses in the Netherlands, Europe and the rest of the world.
