Specialization Sociology of Rural Development in International Development Studies

Climate Governance can be studied from an anthropological and sociological perspective within the specialisation Sociology of Rural Development.  Within this specialisation students learn to analyse how people react to changes in the natural environment, technological developments, environmental challenges, and policy changes.
The MSc International Development Studies in which this specialization is done deals with worldwide processes of development and change, while approaching the study of social, economic, political, technological and environmental change from various perspectives, local as well as global.
