Specialization Economics, Environment and Policy in 'Consumer Studies'

The governance of food chains requires an understanding of international trade and regulation and the management of food production and cunsumption chains. The specialization Economics, Environment, and Policy focuses on economic, environmental, and policy analysis. It is concerned with international trade, economic development, the agricultural and food processing sector and rural areas within the European Union and within developing countries. To analyze these issues, macro- and micro-economic theories are applied, as well as theories from law, sociology, and political science.
